XPENG in Mexico City is seeking a senior Marketing Communications lead to elevate the brand in Mexico with a focus on EV technology, safety, and innovation. You will align messages with HQ, manage media relations, and oversee reputation programs across automotive media and digital channels.

The role requires 5+ years in marketing/PR in automotive contexts, strong English writing, and cross‑functional collaboration. Portuguese background is a plus.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or above in Communication, Journalism, Marketing or related fields.
• At least 5 years of experience in marketing communication, public relations or media, with an automotive industry background required
• Excellent English writing and communication skills; Portuguese background is preferred
• Familiar with the operation of traditional media and social media, able to keenly capture new media trends
• Excellent team collaboration and cross-departmental communication skills, able to efficiently handle complex tasks in a high-intensity work environment
• Good crisis management experience and emergency response capabilities

Responsabilidades

• Build XPENG’s public image in Mexico focusing on EV technology, intelligence, and safety.
• Align communication messages between Mexico subsidiary and HQ.
• Manage long-term reputation programs.
• Develop strong relationships with automotive, technology, business, and mainstream media.
• Organize test-drive events, media briefings, interviews, and product technology sessions.
• Coordinate execution with the distributor and agencies.
• Monitor EV-related public opinion including safety, charging, and autonomous driving.
• Lead local crisis response and collaborate with HQ.
• Prepare press releases, Q&A, statements, and technical content.
• Review all communication materials to ensure brand consistency and compliance.
• Plan PR events, media days, and technology showcases.
• Manage media coverage and PR KPIs.
• Coordinate full-cycle administrative logistics for marketing campaigns, offline events and brand activities, including budget application, venue & vendor coordination, and promotional material preparation, to ensure on-schedule and compliant execution.
