Job summary
Johnson Controls is seeking an ERP / MES Supervisor Floor Systems Support to lead end-to-end ERP / MES initiatives, including implementations, upgrades, integrations, and process standardization. You will identify opportunities for system improvements and ensure timely delivery to the operations team, resolving issues that could disrupt production lines.
The role requires 5+ years of ERP / MES leadership in manufacturing, strong cross-functional collaboration, and proficiency with common PM
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field.
- 5+ years of ERP / MES leadership experience in manufacturing.
- Hands-on experience leading cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment.
- Strong understanding of engineering and manufacturing concepts and lifecycle.
- Proficiency with project management and reporting tools (MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint).
Responsibilities
- Lead ERP / MES projects from initiation through go-live and stabilization.
- Develop and manage detailed project plans and communicate potential issues affecting production lines.
- Ensure alignment between business requirements, ERP / MES design, configuration, testing, and deployment.
- Coordinate improvement actions supporting production lines and reducing cycle time.
- Track project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation plans.
- Define, document, and validate ERP / MES business requirements with stakeholders.
- Ensure ERP / MES solutions support standardized, best-practice processes across sites.
- Ensure master data, transactional data, and reporting structures are accurate.
- Support post-go-live stabilization and ongoing improvement initiatives.
- Serve as the primary contact for ERP / MES sponsors and leaders.
- Lead cross-functional ERP / MES teams including Operations, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Finance, Engineering, and IT.
- Facilitate governance meetings, steering committees, and status reviews.
- Communicate status, risks, decisions, and outcomes clearly to all stakeholders.
- Coordinate training, communications, and user adoption activities.
- Identify and manage ERP / MES project risks and dependencies.
- Manage scope changes through formal change control and governance processes.
- Ensure deliverables meet quality, compliance, and business objectives.
- Drive timely issue resolution and escalation.
