ROHA is seeking an Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Analyst based in Querétaro to drive quality, safety, hygiene and food safety standards across our plant operations.

The role focuses on implementing and maintaining the QMS, supporting internal/external audits, CAPA and regulatory compliance while fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement across teams.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in QA/EHS, preferably in the food color/ingredient industry.
• Knowledge of FSSC 22000, HACCP, GMP, Kosher and SMETA.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, hygiene, environmental and food safety standards across plant operations.
• Implement, maintain and improve the Quality Management System, including ISO, HACCP, GMP and FSSC 22000 requirements.
• Ensure compliance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements related to quality, safety and occupational health.
• Coordinate and support internal and external audits, including follow-up of findings, non-conformities and CAPA.
• Identify safety risks within the plant and ensure the implementation of preventive and corrective actions.
• Coordinate and follow up on food safety, occupational safety and environmental programs.
• Support certifications and standards including Kosher, FSSC 22000 and SMETA.
• Promote a culture of safety, prevention and continuous improvement.
• Maintain accurate procedures, records and documentation related to management systems.
• Work closely with plant teams and unionized employees to ensure compliance with established standards and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Occupational Safety & Hygiene, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Quality Assurance/EHS, preferably in the food color or food ingredient industry.
• English B1 level preferred.
• Knowledge of FSSC 22000, HACCP, GMP, Kosher and SMETA.
• Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations and applicable legal requirements.
• Experience with internal/external audits, CAPA and risk assessment.
• Experience working with unionized employees and plant personnel.
• Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Organized, proactive and results-oriented, with a focus on continuous improvement.
