Amalga Group in Mexico is seeking an Engineering Technical Lead to drive software architecture and maintain high engineering standards while leading a team of five developers. The role balances architectural vision with hands-on coding, ensuring scalable, secure, and maintainable full-stack solutions.

You will design scalable web applications and robust backend systems, mentor the team, and collaborate with DevOps on CI/CD, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud deployments

Formación

• 6+ years in full-stack web development with at least 3+ years in a tech leadership role
• Strong hands-on experience with SQL (PostgreSQL, BigQuery) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis)
• Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines and cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP)
• Proven ability to deliver enterprise-level projects and patch security vulnerabilities
• Excellent communication, Agile execution and pragmatic problem-solving capabilities

Responsabilidades

• Technical leadership & architecture for microservices and monolithic structures
• Maintain an active coding footprint while guiding a team of 5 engineers
• Enforce best practices for backend, REST/GraphQL APIs, and security (OAuth 2.0, JWT)
• Define data persistence strategies across PostgreSQL, BigQuery, MongoDB and Redis
• Collaborate with DevOps to optimize CI/CD, Docker/Kubernetes, and cloud deployments
