Job summary

Corning Incorporated in Reynosa, Mexico, is seeking an Engineering Project Manager to lead low- to medium-complexity product development and manufacturing projects, with an initial focus on New Product Introduction initiatives supporting HSDC.

You will coordinate engineering, operations, manufacturing, product development, and other stakeholders to deliver projects safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physical Sciences, or another technical discipline.
  • At least three years of experience leading projects in a manufacturing/engineering environment.
  • Experience managing New Product Introduction, product development, process development, equipment, automation, or similar projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and communicate with stakeholders at multiple levels.
  • Experience developing project plans and managing scope, schedules, budgets, resources, risks, and communications.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage project plans with scope, milestones, budgets, risks, and objectives.
  • Lead cross-functional teams through product development, testing, manufacturing implementation, and launch.
  • Engage customers and internal stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
  • Build business cases by evaluating market needs, technical and manufacturing opportunities, cost targets, risks, and financial impact.
  • Ensure activities meet safety, quality, delivery, IP, and compliance expectations while applying project management practices.
