Corning Incorporated in Reynosa, Mexico seeks a Senior NPI Engineer to lead new product introduction and manufacturing process development for optical communications innovations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful launches, apply rigorous problem-solving, drive DFMs, and deliver sustainable manufacturing improvements while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Formación

• Master's degree or PhD in Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or a related technical field.
• 3–5 years of scientific research, product development, or advanced engineering experience.
• Experience leading technical projects, prioritizing activities, and managing multiple objectives.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working within NPI, Product Development, or Manufacturing Engineering environments.
• Advanced English communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsabilidades

• Lead technical activities related to New Product Introduction (NPI) and manufacturing process development.
• Collaborate with Technology, Manufacturing, and Project Management teams to ensure successful project execution and product commercialization.
• Analyze data, perform root cause and failure analysis, and implement sustainable solutions to technical and manufacturing challenges.
• Drive Design for Manufacturability (DFM) initiatives to improve product quality, efficiency, and operational performance.Identify and implement process improvement opportunities that support business and operational goals.
• Communicate project status, risks, challenges, and technical recommendations to key stakeholders.
• Promote and maintain a safe work environment while supporting compliance with company safety standards.
