Danfoss in Mexico is seeking a motivated engineering student to assist in developing and documenting manufacturing processes. The role focuses on improving safety, quality, and productivity while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

You will contribute to drawing up process documentation, learn to read schematics, and participate in Kaizen activities. This position is on-site with morning hours and offers opportunities for growth and mentoring.

Formación

• Pursuing a degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of manufacturing processes.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; exposure to Power BI, PLCs and test stands.
• Ability to read hydraulic and electrical schematics.
• Willingness to work on-site in the mornings.

Responsabilidades

• Generates documentation of manufacturing processes (drawings and tool sheet).
• Support Continuous Improvement activities such as Kaizen and cost out programs.
• Promote risk prevention/assessment and process awareness.
• Support the quality management system and drive improvements.
• Carry out additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

What You'll Be Doing

• Generates documentation of manufacturing processes (drawings and tool sheet).
• Support and/or participate on Continuous Improvement Activities such as: Kaizen, Ideas Programs, cost out and/or demonstrate improvements in goals year over year in our processes or practices aligned to achieve or business goals and/objectives.
• Promote risk prevention/assessment and process attachment.
• Assume and motivate responsibility and accountability across the organization related with quality management system effectiveness.
• Any other activity that your immediate supervisor designates.

What We're Looking For

• Studying Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related
• Mechanical aptitude and understanding of manufacturing processes
• Computer skills (Microsoft Office, Power BI, PLC, test stand)
• Ability to read and understand hydraulic & electrical schematics
• Be able to work on site, by the mornings
