Job summary

Danfoss in Querétaro, Mexico, is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to develop and improve manufacturing processes focusing on safety, quality and productivity. You will adjust process conditions, generate process documentation, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

You will work with suppliers, design to meet product specs, and apply quality tools such as PFMEA, Gauge R&R, and 8D. This role requires mechanical aptitude and knowledge of PLCs and test stands.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience as CNC technician or programmer (desirable).
• Strong mechanical understanding of manufacturing processes.
• Familiarity with quality tools and problem solving in a manufacturing context.

Responsibilities

• Adjusts and optimizes process conditions and parameters for each operation.
• Generates documentation of manufacturing processes (drawings and tool sheets).
• Supports continuous improvement activities (Kaizen, cost-out, ideas programs).
• Analyzes tools and devices suppliers for correct usage in manufacturing.
• Develops designs that meet product specifications and industrial policies.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Adjusts and optimizes process conditions and parameters for each manufacturing route operation.
• Generates documentation of manufacturing processes (drawings and tool sheet).
• Support and/or participate on Continuous Improvement Activities such as: Kaizen, Ideas Programs, cost out and/or demonstrate improvements in goals year over year in our processes or practices aligned to achieve or business goals and/objectives.
• Analyzes and interacts with suppliers of tools and devices, aiming at the correct use in the manufacturing process.
• Develop designs that meet product specifications, technical requirements and industrial policies

What We're Looking For

• 3 years of experience as CNC technician or programmer desirable.
• TSU Engineering, Manufacturing, Mechanical field.
• Mechanical aptitude and understanding of manufacturing processes
• Working knowledge of quality/problem solving tools (PPAP, Capability studies, PFMEA, Gauge R&R, 4-Step, 8D, Fishbone)
• Computer skills, (Microsoft Office, PLC, test stand)
