PKC Group in Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua is seeking a Quality Engineer to analyze and improve quality across components, materials, and services. You will apply sampling, testing, and process verification to ensure compliance with quality standards and drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities include updating the Control Plan, conducting audits, engaging with customers on complaints and changes, and coordinating cross‑functional actions.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in quality engineering.
• Experience with ISO/IATF16949 and PPAP is required.
• Strong knowledge of SPC, MSA, APQP, PPAP, and PFMEA.
• Advanced English.

Responsabilidades

• Review and update the Control Plan and monitor the process through quality statistics.
• Verify process adherence to ISO/IATF 16949.
• Lead training for quality inspectors and develop procedures.
• Develop PPAP documentation.
• Interface with customers to respond to complaints and coordinate changes.
• Coordinate containment and corrective actions for quality issues.
• Analyze customer complaints to define countermeasures.
• Coordinate cross‑department follow‑ups on corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and health requirements.

QUALITY ENGINEER

Analyze quality standards for components, materials, or services. Apply measures, sampling methods, testing methodology, and other procedures that ensure compliance with the quality standards. Apply quality principles, analyze quality records, prepare reports, and recommend improvements. Perform audits, verifications, and validations of components or materials used in the development process. Identify and approach recurring problems, whether it is with the quality of the product or the reliability of the testing procedures. Document the quality problem and the performance measures for management review. May engage with external providers.

Responsabilities

• Review and update of Control Plan, preparation of reports and presentations for problem solution, monitoring of the process through the application of quality statistics tools, preparation of work instructions.
• Review adherence of the process to the quality system according to the ISO/IATF 16949 standard.
• Direction, coordination, and training for quality inspectors, including development of work and procedures.
• Develop documentation for PPAP.
• Direct contact with the customer to provide response to complaints, improvement opportunities, attend internal meetings and/or customer meetings regarding engineering changes, APQP, new projects and follow-up of complaints and corrective or improvement actions.
• Coordinate contests for the contention, repair of quality issues.
• Analysis of customer complaints for the development of countermeasures, and implementation of corrective actions.
• Coordinate meetings with the rest of the departments to follow-up of countermeasures of customer complaints.
• Comply with the environmental, security, and health requirements established in legislation and regulations related to our activities and products, as well as the EHS requirements established by the community, our customers, and others to which we subscribe.

Education or experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering
• 3 to 5 years’ experience.

Skill/ knowledge requirements

• Preparation of control plan, CORE TOOL, (SPC, MSA, APQP, PPAP, PFEMA), ISO/IATF16949, Reading of blueprints
• Specific customer requirements, problem solution techniques, 8D’s, FTQ, SCRAP, PPMS, 5WH, 5’s
• Develop actions plans, Gantts and management of databases
• Advanced English.
