BRADY DE MEXICO S DE RL DE CV is seeking a strategic Quality Engineer to drive the quality vision across operations in Querétaro. You will lead the implementation of core quality tools and ensure processes meet ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards.

You will partner with manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain to resolve defects, lead root-cause analyses, and drive continuous improvement with measurable cost reductions. The role requires cross-functional leadership and a strong customer focus.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years in a similar role within ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 certified company.
• Mastery of Core Tools and problem-solving methods (8D, Ishikawa, 5W2H); Six Sigma/TQM preferred.
• Proficiency with Minitab, SAP, and Microsoft Office.
• Leadership, timely decision-making, conflict management, customer focus, teamwork, and integrity.

Responsabilidades

• Implement and manage FMEA, APQP, PPAP, MSA, SPC, and Control Plans for new and existing processes.
• Ensure QMS compliance, perform internal audits, document control, and report to leadership.
• Act as quality representative to customers, lead complaint resolution, and coordinate with suppliers on material quality.
• Manage product releases/holds and plant KPIs; authority to stop production for non-compliance.
• Lead root-cause analysis and cross-functional corrective actions to reduce costs.

Are you passionate about continuous improvement, technical leadership, and operational excellence? We are looking for a strategic Quality Engineer to drive our quality vision, optimize processes using Core Tools, and maintain the highest standards of performance across our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and manage FMEA, APQP, PPAP, MSA, SPC, and Control Plans for new product introductions (NPI) and existing processes.
• Ensure compliance with the Quality & Environmental Management System (QMS), executing the annual internal audit plan, document control, and reporting performance to executive leadership.
• Serve as the Quality representative for customers, leading complaint resolution and coordinating with suppliers on raw material quality issues.
• Manage product releases or holds and plant KPIs, with full authority to stop production when non-compliance is detected.
• Lead root-cause analysis and cross-functional corrective/preventive actions to achieve measurable cost reductions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in a similar role within an ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 certified company.
• Mastery of Core Tools and problem-solving methodologies (8Ds, Ishikawa, 5W2H). Knowledge of Six Sigma and TQM is preferred.
• Minitab, SAP, and Microsoft Office.
