Mata Automotive Mexico is seeking an Engineer Automotive Quality - Customer Service to manage quality issues for premier clients. You will coordinate resolutions, prepare detailed customer reports, and drive corrective actions to ensure on-time delivery of high-quality parts.

Required are 5–8 years in quality engineering, engineering education with a focus on quality, PPAPs experience, and strong English communication. On-site role in Mexico with a global customer base.

Formación

• Experience with major clients in automotive quality/customer service.
• 5–8 years as a Quality Engineer.
• Education in engineering with focus on quality and process improvement.
• Fluent English (C1) is essential for this role.
• Experience with PPAPs and customer portals required.

Responsabilidades

• Support client quality issues and coordinate resolutions.
• Generate and present customer reports and documentation.
• Lead quality activities per 8D and PPAP methodologies.
• Ensure timely issue detection and corrective actions before shipment.

Engineer Automotive Quality - Customer Service

We are looking for a highly experienced professional in Quality customer service, with a proven track record working with major clients TESLA, RIVIAN or GM.

Mata automotive is a leading full service supplier of interior and exterior decorative components in real premium materials for the global automotive industry.

Requirements

Mandatory requirements: (If you don´t have this we invite to search a diferent vacancy for you profile)

Have worked with clients portals for at least the last 3 years.

Fluent English (C1 level) - essential for this role.

• Training in IATF and Core Tools is required.
• VDA training is preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience: 5 to 8 years as a Quality Engineer.
• Education: Engineering or related degree desirable with focus on quality and process improvement.
• Quality tools: Master basic measuring equipment such as ohmmeters, vernier, micrometer, and rulers. 8D's (common methodology to solve problems and prevent recurrence).
• Experience in PPAPs.
• Generation of customer reports, use of customer portals and process documentation.
• Detect problems and recommend actions: Strong focus on identifying and solving problems in a timely manner.
• Data analysis: Important to make decisions based on objective information.
• First Article Inspection, Final Inspection before shipment, line releases, defect catalogs.
