Invenergy is seeking an Assistant General Counsel to provide professional legal advice, guidance, and support to its business development and operations in Mexico. The role focuses on regulatory matters, complex contracting, and cross-border compliance within the energy sector.

The position involves drafting, reviewing and negotiating diverse contracts—PPAs, EPCs, real estate, and service agreements—while coordinating with governmental agencies and internal teams.

Formación

• 6-8 years of experience in law firm or in-house counsel.
• Ability to draft and negotiate complex contracts in English and Spanish.
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.

Responsabilidades

• Provide legal support on regulatory matters including permitting, registration and authorizations for energy projects.
• Support commercial transactions: acquisitions, joint ventures, EPC, PPAs and other agreements.
• Provide legal support on real estate, environmental, tax and labor matters as needed.
• Draft, review and negotiate services, O&M, supply, procurement and employment contracts.
• Participate in the Compliance Committee.
