CEMEX, Inc. seeks a Corporate Counsel to support Global Procurement, Energy, and Trading. The role involves drafting and negotiating complex cross-border agreements, corporate resolutions, and NDAs across regions, including Mexico and international operations.

The candidate should have 5+ years in law firms or in-house, with strong drafting, negotiation, and English-language proficiency. This is an on-site role based in San Pedro Garza García, with broad regional coordination.

Formación

• Bachelor of Laws degree from a Mexican law school (LLM or foreign degree a plus).
• Minimum 5 years experience at a law firm and/or in-house.
• Experience with cross-border transactions and energy offtake agreements is a plus.
• Good negotiating and drafting skills.
• Proficiency in English and legal English terminology.
• Proficiency in MS Office; strong presentation skills.

Responsabilidades

• Advise and provide legal support to Global Procurement, Energy, and Trading units.
• Draft and review corporate resolutions; coordinate with local firms to maintain foreign company records.
• Draft and review NDAs and master services agreements for on-site and off-site services, purchase and sale agreements for capital equipment, and MRO supply agreements.
• Draft and review agreements for cementitious and non-cementitious products; coordinate maritime freight contracts.
• Provide legal advice to resolve contractual disputes.
• Support energy offtake agreements for Cemex Mexico and global assets; coordinate with regional counsels on multi-country contracts.
