Optima Organizational Solutions in Mexico is seeking an Employee Relations & Engagement Coordinator to promote a positive work environment, ensure policy compliance, and lead internal communications across the manufacturing facility.

You will coach supervisors, manage investigations, monitor key metrics, support labor relations, and maintain a strong presence on the manufacturing floor to address employee concerns.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 4+ years of Employee Relations experience in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of Mexican Federal Labor Law (LFT).
• Experience handling employee conflicts, disciplinary processes, investigations, and concerns.
• Automotive and unionized manufacturing experience preferred.
• Intermediate to advanced English proficiency.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Manage day-to-day employee relations and provide direct support to employees and leadership.
• Coach supervisors and managers on employee relations, performance, discipline, and workforce management matters.
• Coordinate workplace investigations, disciplinary actions, and employee terminations.
• Monitor absenteeism, turnover, disciplinary trends, and employee engagement metrics.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, Internal Work Regulations, and Mexican labor laws.
• Support union relations and collective bargaining agreement administration when applicable.
• Develop and execute internal communication strategies and engagement initiatives.
• Coordinate employee communication, recognition, engagement, and integration programs.
• Maintain a strong presence on the manufacturing floor to address employee concerns.

Employee Relations & Engagement Coordinator

Position Objective

Responsible for promoting positive employee relations and a healthy work environment while ensuring consistent application of company policies, work rules, and labor regulations. This position will also lead internal communication and employee engagement initiatives across the manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day employee relations and provide direct support to employees and leadership.


• Coach supervisors and managers on employee relations, performance, discipline, and workforce management matters.


• Coordinate workplace investigations, disciplinary actions, and employee terminations.


• Monitor key indicators including absenteeism, turnover, disciplinary trends, and employee engagement.


• Ensure compliance with company policies, Internal Work Regulations, and applicable Mexican labor laws.


• Support union relations and collective bargaining agreement administration, when applicable.


• Develop and execute internal communication strategies and initiatives.


• Coordinate employee communication, recognition, engagement, and integration programs.

Qualifications
