Xylem is seeking an embedded firmware engineer to design, implement, and test firmware for battery-powered AMI metering products. You will develop and integrate firmware to drive sensors, collaborate with global teams, and create tools and documentation for continuous improvement.

You will work with MSP430/ARM Cortex‑M3 architectures, use common test equipment, and participate in CI testing. Occasional travel to the United States may be required, with a focus on high-quality, scalable firmware

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science required.
• At least 2 years of embedded OS and/or embedded systems development experience.
• Experience writing and optimizing C code for micro-controllers in resource-limited environments.
• Experience with PC-based testing scripts for data analysis.
• Proficiency with Git version control and debugging tools.

Responsabilidades

• Design, implement, and test firmware for high-volume battery-operated AMI metering products.
• Develop and integrate firmware to drive sensors and communication paths.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality and on-time delivery.
• Create documentation for collaboration, sustainability and internal processes.
• Develop PC-based tools for demonstration and data analysis.
• Develop embedded support for module testing and code analysis.
• Create test plans and CI fixtures for functional testing.
• Assist with circuit design, PCB layouts, and troubleshooting.
• Travel to the United States may be required.
