Xylem is seeking an embedded software engineer to design, implement, and test firmware for high-volume RF AMI and metering products in a global team. You will develop and integrate FW for sensors and communications, and create PC-based tools for data analysis. Collaboration across teams and documentation for processes are key.

• BS degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent.
• 2+ years in embedded OS or embedded systems development.
• Experience writing and optimizing C for micro-controllers in limited resources.
• Experience writing PC-based tests and data analysis scripts.
• Familiar with Git version control.
• Strong debugging and board-level testing skills.
• Experience with common test equipment like scopes and analyzers.
• Team-oriented with clear communication, English fluency.
• Willingness to travel to the United States as needed.

Responsabilidades

• Design, implement, and test firmware for RF AMI and metering products.
• Develop and integrate firmware to drive sensors and communications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality and delivery.
• Create documentation for collaboration and processes.
• Develop PC-based tools for demo and data analysis (Python, Ruby, C#).
• Provide embedded support for module testing and code coverage (Ceedling).
• Create test plans and fixtures for CI testing.
• Assist with analog/digital circuit design and PCB layouts.
• Investigate defective products with QA and support teams.
• Interface with third-party tech for integration with Sensus products.
• Occasional US travel may be required.
