Xylem seeks an embedded software engineer in Mexico to design, implement, and test firmware for high-volume water metering products. You will develop PC-based tools for data analysis, create CI test fixtures, and support hardware design activities while collaborating with global teams.

The role requires 2+ years of embedded experience, strong C skills, and excellent debugging. Occasional travel to the United States is expected.

Formación

• BS degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
• 2+ years of embedded OS/systems development experience.
• Experience writing and optimizing C code for micro-controllers.
• Experience writing PC-based programs and scripts for testing and data analysis.
• Experience with Git and testing tools.
• Strong debugging and board-level troubleshooting skills.

Responsabilidades

• Design, implement, and test firmware for battery-operated RF AMI and metering products.
• Develop PC-based tools for demonstration and data analysis.
• Develop embedded support for module testing and code coverage.
• Create test plans and fixtures for CI testing.
• Assist with circuit design, PCB layouts, and component selection.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality.
