CalAmp, a connected intelligence company, seeks a Sr. Firmware Engineer based in Mexico City with 10+ years of embedded firmware experience to drive device driver development and firmware for 32-bit MCUs.

The role involves maintaining existing software, collaborating with validation and field engineers, and documenting firmware designs. Ideal candidates will have RTOS expertise, C/C++/Python proficiency, and strong communication skills in English.

Formación

• BS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
• 10+ years of embedded firmware development experience.
• Knowledge about microcontrollers and internals; able to read hardware specs and schematics.
• Experience with Super loop and RTOS architectures.
• Proficiency in C/C++/Python.
• Familiarity with using digital scopes and logic analyzers.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must have English language skills.
• MS in Computer Science preferred.
• Experience with eLinux architecture.
• Experience with Cellular, BLE, and WiFi protocols.
• Experience with Test Automation using scripting languages.
• Experience with POSIX programming.
• Familiarity with UDP/TCP, TLS and HTTP protocols.

Responsabilidades
