Flex is seeking a Test Engineer for its Guadalajara, North site to implement and maintain cost-effective testing methods for systems, software, and equipment. The role reports to the Test Engineering Manager and focuses on reducing failures, downtime, and improving test yield.

The ideal candidate has a BA/BS or equivalent, hands-on experience with PCBAs testing and test equipment, and intermediate English. Availability to support production needs is required.

Formación

• BA/BS or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in functional, in-circuit and hipot testing for PCBAs and electronic assemblies.
• Experience diagnosing electrical failures from functional tests at PCBA and sub-assembly levels.
• Experience integrating, installing, designing and supporting electrical test equipment, test hardware, computer platforms and interfaces.
• Hands-on experience using electrical test instruments such as power supplies and electronic loads.
• Experience in manufacturing projects involving power supplies, batteries or computer servers.
• Experience providing technical support to production lines for electronic assemblies.
• Intermediate English level.
• Availability to support production needs.

Responsabilidades

• Directs and coordinates testing and test control apparatus development.
• Calibrates instruments and control devices for test data.
• Interfaces with engineering to resolve testing problems and improve yield.
• Interprets test data and prepares technical reports for engineering and management.
• Develops or uses software and hardware to conduct tests on products and systems.
• Trains floor support and technicians on test hardware and software.
• Supports equipment verification and integration in production.
• Creates and maintains process documentation.
• Explores new technologies or procedures in testing.
