Job summary

Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems LLC is seeking an Electronics Test Engineer to lead project management and conduct electronics product validation testing for ABS, stability systems, and TPMS/ECU platforms.

The role requires knowledge of mechanical/electronic hardware, instrumentation, and test methodologies, with the ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team with suppliers and customers. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electromechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of engineering experience in automotive/commercial vehicle context is preferred.
• Knowledge of IATF16949 and PDM/document control processes is beneficial.
• Experience with RF/HW design or hand-soldering is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate mechanical, electrical, and climatic test activities with internal engineers; review DVPs and TRs.
• Develop and maintain electronic test fixtures for product validation.
• Lead root cause analysis and test reporting for electronics and TPMS/ECUs.
• Ensure lab safety and calibration of equipment in the test lab.
