Bendix, part of the Knorr-Bremse Group, is seeking a senior engineer to support trailer electronics systems including ABS, roll stability, and related electronics. You will validate, release, test, and provide application and customer support while coordinating with global teams on design changes and safety analyses.

Formación

• B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering is required
• 5+ years of relevant engineering experience
• CDL or willingness to obtain CDL within a year of employment
• Experience in trailer driver assistance or vehicle systems engineering is preferred
• Knowledge of ISO 26262 and safety analyses is beneficial
• Experience with DFMEAs/DVP&Rs and test planning is advantageous

Responsabilidades

• Develop product functional and technical requirements from OEM feedback and benchmarking
• Author design specifications, drawings, and test specifications
• Create and update DFMEAs and safety analyses
• Plan and organize environmental, electrical, and mechanical test cycles and document results
• Perform data collection and analysis from simulations and vehicle tests
• Present results and validation methods to stakeholders concisely and professionally
• Support IPA and PPAP processes and interface with quality and plant engineering
• Travel to test tracks and customer facilities to support installation and demos
• Train customers on trailer electronics features and provide technical support
