Job summary

Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems LLC is seeking an engineer to support trailer electronics products and systems, including ABS, roll stability, and related electronics. You will validate, release, test, and support customer applications, performing DFMEAs and coordinating with Quality and Plant Engineering to implement changes.

The role requires strong analytical skills, global teamwork, and the ability to travel for testing and customer demonstrations.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is required.
• M.S. in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is preferred.
• 5+ years of relevant engineering experience.
• 2+ years in automotive or commercial vehicle industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop product functional and technical requirements based on feedback from vehicle OEMs, fleets, and benchmarking.
• Create design specifications, product specifications, drawings and test plans.
• Update DFMEAs and safety analyses for product changes.
• Plan and oversee environmental, electrical, and mechanical tests and document results in DVP&R.
• Support field troubleshooting and customer applications with technical guidance.
