Job summary

Advanced Energy in Mexicali is seeking a Production Manager to plan, coordinate, and control manufacturing processes in an electronics environment. You will lead cross-functional teams to meet schedule, budget, and quality targets while driving continuous improvement across operations.

The role requires 5–8+ years in electronics manufacturing, strong leadership and problem‑solving skills, and experience with PCB assembly, ERP/MRP systems, and ISO/IPC standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field is required.
• 5–8+ years of experience in electronics manufacturing or production management.
• Proven experience leading teams in a high-volume production environment.
• Knowledge of PCB assembly processes (SMT, through-hole, testing).
• Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and Lean/Six Sigma/Kaizen practices.
• Understanding of ISO 9001 and IPC quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production activities for electronic products and assemblies.
• Develop and implement production schedules to meet demand and delivery timelines.
• Monitor and optimize production processes to improve efficiency and output.
• Ensure compliance with manufacturing standards, safety regulations, and quality requirements.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for production issues.
• Coach and develop production staff, supervisors, and technicians.
