Job summary

EDAG in Puebla, Mexico is seeking an Electrical Testing Specialist Junior to join the automotive development team. You will maintain, adapt, and document test benches and vehicles, using CANoe for simulation and performing electrical tests on ECUs.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Mechatronics, Automotive Mechanics, or Electrical Engineering, has 1+ year of automotive experience, and strong English; German is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related engineering field and automotive exposure.
• Over 1 year of experience in the automotive industry.
• Experience diagnosing electrical faults in vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance, updating, and documentation of test benches / test vehicles.
• Adaptation, commissioning, and use of Vector CANoe simulation for test benches.
• Testing of vehicle interconnection
• Evaluation of measurement data
• Execution of bench and vehicle tests for electrical/electronic systems
• Execution of software update tests on control units
• Execution of bench tests for quiescent current and vehicle instrumentation to obtain electric current and voltage readings
• Troubleshooting of hardware and software for vehicles and test benches
• Documentation and management of identified faults
