Job summary

EDAG Group in Puebla, Mexico is seeking a Junior Electrical Test Specialist to support the development and validation of automotive electrical/electronic systems. You will maintain test benches, run CANoe-based tests, and document results.

Join a global engineering group with a hands-on, collaborative environment. English B2 is required, and knowledge of CANbus and ECU controllers will help you succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Automotive or Electrical Engineering.
• 1+ years of experience in the automotive industry.
• Experience in diagnosing electrical faults in vehicles.
• Required knowledge of CANBUS, ECU control units, CANoe.
• Knowledge of CANalyzer (desirable).
• English B2.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance, updating, and documentation of test benches / test vehicles.
• Adaptation, commissioning, and use of Vector CANoe simulation for test benches.
• Testing of vehicle interconnection.
• Evaluation of measurement data.
• Execution of bench and vehicle tests for electrical/electronic systems.
• Execution of software update tests on control units.
• Execution of bench tests for quiescent current and vehicle instrumentation to obtain vehicle current and voltage.
• Troubleshooting hardware and software for vehicles and test benches.
• Documentation and management of identified faults.
