SSOE is seeking a senior electrical design engineer to lead the electrical systems design for large-scale industrial projects, including power distribution, lighting, and grounding, with BIM/Revit coordination. This role requires mentoring junior staff and coordinating with multiple disciplines to deliver on-time, within-budget results.

You will guide design deliverables, conduct critical calculations, and ensure code compliance while supporting in-country projects in Mexico with a hybrid work

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electromechanical, or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 8+ years of electrical design experience in the AEC industry for large industrial facilities.
• Professional license in Mexico (Título and Cédula Profesional).
• Expertise in power distribution, lighting, grounding, and low-voltage systems design.
• Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, and BIM coordination tools.
• Familiarity with SKM Power Tools, ETAP, Easy Power, or AGi32.
• Strong leadership to guide multidisciplinary design teams and manage deliverables across projects.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the design and development of electrical systems for large-scale industrial projects, including power distribution, lighting, and grounding.
• Plan and conduct work with independent evaluation of methods; make decisions on complex problems and refine design solutions.
• Manage and execute design deliverables using Revit/BIM with quality coordination.
• Perform load calculations, short-circuit and coordination studies, and lighting analysis.
• Meet with clients to define project scope and present progress, ensuring client satisfaction.
• Collaborate with architectural, structural, and mechanical teams for coordinated designs.
