Vertiv Co in Mexico seeks an Electrical Engineer to sustain CRAC products, collaborating with mechanical, electrical, process, and production teams, and to analyze manufacturing issues and implement effective solutions.

Responsibilities include CAD design and review (CREO, 2D/3D), BOM and product definitions in PLM/PDM, cost reduction initiatives, field issue resolution, and supporting engineering tests and manufacturing readiness.

Formación

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience with electrically controlled products.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and work in a dynamic team.
• Demonstrated history with product development processes.

Responsabilidades

• Sustain computer room air conditioning (CRAC) products.
• Collaborate across mechanical, electrical, process, and production teams for design reviews and cost targets.
• Perform engineering calculations to verify design requirements.
• Design/review/revise 2D and 3D CAD drawings using a PDM tool.
• Develop BOMs and product definitions in PLM to support reuse and manufacturing.
• Develop solutions for complex problems with ingenuity and creativity.
• Identify cost reduction opportunities and implement changes.
• Implement product changes to solve field issues and support service.
• Product and component verification activities.
• Support manufacturing facilities with sustaining and cost reduction activities.
• Assist in design, review and testing of new CRAC products.
• Work with software team to develop and verify CRAC system controls.
