Expeditors is seeking a Customs Brokerage professional to ensure smooth and timely movement and clearance of freight, delivering exceptional customer service. Responsibilities include handling customs entries, data integrity, and interactions with government authorities to meet client expectations.

The role emphasizes adherence to policies, continuous improvement, and collaboration across Expeditors offices worldwide, with a focus on accurate billing and regulatory compliance.

Formación

• Good knowledge of customs brokerage process and system.
• Good knowledge of incoterms.
• Hazardous Materials certification (preferred)

Responsabilidades

• Ensure smooth and timely customs process flow.
• Ensure accurate and timely client billing.
• Understand all elements of the import/export DLSOP and interpret information for customers.
• Ensure accurate data entry into operating systems.
• Transpose customs declaration information into the customs entry system.
• Assist with verification of customs declaration information and submission to authorities.
• Track and trace customs files.
• Interact with customs authorities to address issues.
• Attend inspections when requested.
• Liaise between customs authorities and customers.
• Ensure timely customs clearance of cargo for imports/exports.
• Verify documents for compliance.
• Interact with customers to arrange international shipments.
• Maintain relationships with customs officers.
• Comply with OPS and regulations.
