Job summary

ABB is seeking an experienced Integrated Management Systems Engineer to lead the IMS across the plant, ensuring alignment with Environmental, Health & Safety and Energy Management requirements.

You will work with Production, Quality, Logistics, Maintenance, HR, EHS and IT to drive audits, corrective actions, risk reduction and continuous improvement while promoting a culture of HSE excellence across operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience managing Integrated Management Systems in industry.
• Experience implementing and maintaining ISO14001, ISO45001, ISO50001, ISO22301, ESR.
• Experience coordinating certification and customer audits; strong auditing/ compliance skills.
• Advanced English: ability to participate in audits, international projects, and management reviews.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the IMS implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with ISO, ESR and other requirements.
• Coordinate internal, external, certification, customer and supplier audits.
• Manage corrective and preventive actions, root cause analysis and effectiveness verification.
• Maintain compliance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
• Support management reviews, KPI tracking and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Develop and maintain IMS procedures, work instructions, and documentation.
• Conduct employee training and awareness programs related to IMS.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to promote operational excellence and risk management.
• Support sustainability and safety initiatives.

Your Role: Meet the Challenge

We are looking for an experienced Integrated Management Systems Engineer to oversee the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of our Integrated Management System (IMS).

This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with Environmental, Occupational Health & Safety and Energy Management requirements while supporting operational excellence throughout the organization.

The selected candidate will work cross‑functionally with Production, Quality, Logistics, Maintenance, Human Resources, EHS, IT, and other departments to support compliance, certification readiness, risk reduction, and continuous improvement initiatives.

In this position, you will help enhance Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) outcomes in your area of responsibility while supporting a culture centered on HSE. Each day, you will support the business by applying in-depth HSE knowledge and offering solutions and advice. You will also showcase your ability by ensuring effective risk management through HSE excellence along the ABB value chain.

This is a leadership position responsible for ensuring legal compliance, protecting our employees, and promoting safe manufacturing practices across the plant. The role partners closely with Engineering, Maintenance, Production, and EHS to guarantee that safety is built into every stage of our operations.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Oversee the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the Integrated Management System (IMS).
• Ensure compliance with ISO14001, ISO45001, ISO50001, ISO22301 and other requirements.
• Coordinate and support internal audits, external audits, certification audits, customer audits, and supplier assessments.
• Manage corrective and preventive action processes, including root cause analysis and effectiveness verification.
• Maintain compliance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
• Support management reviews, KPI tracking, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Develop and maintain management system procedures, work instructions, and documentation.
• Conduct employee training and awareness programs related to management systems.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams to promote operational excellence and risk management.
• Support sustainability, environmental, occupational and safety initiatives.

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience managing Integrated Management Systems in the industry.
• Experience in implementing and maintaining: ISO14001, ISO45001, ISO50001, ISO22301, ESR
• Experience coordinating certification and customer audits. Solid auditing and compliance management skills.
• Experience leading corrective actions and continuous improvement projects.
• Solid knowledge of industry requirements.
• Risk assessment and root cause analysis.
• Solid communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to lead projects across multiple functions.
• Solid organizational and problem‑solving skills.
• Advanced English (Ability to participate in customer audits, international projects, technical discussions, and management reviews in English)
