Job summary

Carrier Global Corporation in Monterrey seeks an Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Generalist to lead and support EHS programs for our Santa María offices. You will promote a strong safety culture, ensure compliance with legal and corporate requirements, and drive employee engagement through health, safety, sustainability, and wellness initiatives.

You will help create a safe, compliant, and productive work environment while supporting Carrier’s commitment to leading with safety through

Qualifications

• 1+ years as EHS lead for a site, office, or facility.
• Basic knowledge of NOMs related to workplace safety, health and environmental compliance.
• Experience using Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong communication, training and employee engagement skills.
• Ability to manage multiple initiatives with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Implement EHS management system procedures aligned with site operations.
• Audit fire protection systems and support regulatory inspections.
• Coordinate site Safety Committee and Health & Safety Commission.
• Deliver EHS training and awareness programs for employees.
• Drive corrective actions related to safety and environmental incidents.
• Promote Carrier’s Lead with Safety philosophy.
• Lead EHS programs across Santa María offices with campaigns and wellness initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with legal and corporate EHS requirements.
• Encourage hazard identification, risk mitigation and continuous improvement.
