Carrier seeks an Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Generalist to lead and support EHS programs for our Santa María offices. You will promote a strong safety culture, ensure compliance with legal and corporate requirements, and engage employees in health, safety, sustainability, and wellness initiatives.

You will develop and deliver training, coordinate safety committees, perform risk assessments, and drive continuous improvement while aligning with Carrier's Lead with Safety philosophy.

Formación

• 1+ years of experience as the EHS responsible person at a site, office, or manufacturing facility.
• Basic knowledge of first aid and emergency/fire brigade operations.
• Basic knowledge of Mexican NOMs related to workplace safety, health, and environmental compliance in office operations.
• Experience using Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong communication, training, and employee engagement skills.
• Ability to manage multiple initiatives and work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Responsabilidades

• Implement Environmental, Health & Safety management system procedures aligned with site operations.
• Conduct audits of fire protection systems and support inspections and audits required by regulatory authorities.
• Serve as the coordinator for the site Safety Committee and Health & Safety Commission.
• Deliver EHS training and awareness programs for employees across the organization.
• Drive closure and effectiveness of corrective actions and countermeasures related to safety and environmental incidents.
• Strengthen the environmental culture and promote Carrier’s Lead with Safety philosophy.
• Lead the implementation of EHS programs for the Santa María offices through campaigns, engagement activities, wellness initiatives, and sustainability efforts.
• Ensure compliance with applicable legal, regulatory, and corporate EHS requirements, including emergency response teams, evacuation drills, civil protection programs, and environmental regulations.
• Promote active employee participation in hazard identification, preventive observations, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Develop EHS communication materials, awareness campaigns, and branding initiatives.
• Participate in workplace risk assessments, including ergonomic evaluations of office and common areas.
