Johnson Controls seeks an EHS Engineer STIVA 1 to support plant-level environmental, health, and safety programs and strengthen the safety culture. You will drive compliant, well-documented operations and collaborate across functions to reduce risk.

The role requires a university degree in a related field, 3+ years in EHS, knowledge of regulations, risk assessment, investigations, and ISO 14001/45001 familiarity, with intermediate English.

Formación

• University degree in Environmental Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Occupational Safety, or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in EHS within manufacturing, industrial, warehousing, logistics, or similar environments.
• Practical knowledge of EHS regulations, incident investigations, risk assessment, and corrective actions.
• Experience supporting audits and managing EHS documentation, reporting, permits or licenses.
• Familiarity with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems.
• Strong communication, organization, analytical thinking and attention to detail.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and influence safe behaviors at plant level.
• Intermediate English.

Responsabilidades

• Implement and maintain EHS policies and programs within the site.
• Conduct inspections, audits, and walkthroughs to identify hazards and support corrective actions.
• Support incident, near-miss, and minor injury investigations including root-cause analysis.
• Monitor compliance obligations, permits, licenses, and required documentation.
• Oversee EHS reporting and documentation in line with standards.
• Support training delivery for employees and contractors on EHS policies and regulations.
• Support risk assessments, emergency drills, safety committees, and continuous improvement.
• Help strengthen site programs such as machine guarding, LOTO, PPE, contractor safety, and permit-to-work.
