TERREPOWER (formerly BBB Industries) is seeking an EH&S professional in Reynosa to lead and coordinate environmental, health, and safety programs onsite. You will develop procedures, track annual activities, and ensure regulatory compliance across permits, inspections, and reports.

The role oversees safety programs, training records, and environmental metrics, while coordinating with supervisors and unions to maintain certifications and execute continuous improvement projects.

Responsabilidades

• Develops and implements EH&S procedures, visual aids, and work instructions.
• Participates in the development of the annual EH&S activities program.
• Verifies compliance with the Annual Scheduled EH&S Activities Program.
• Responsible for scheduling purchase orders for annual studies and monitoring their validity/renewal dates.
• Implements and follows up on risk identification programs, monitoring corrective actions through completion and closure.
• Develops instructions, procedures, visual aids, plans, programs, and other documentation required by applicable regulations and standards.
• Responsible for all documentation generated from permits, inspections, and environmental, health, and safety studies.
• Prepares and submits reports, including Federal and State Annual Operating Reports (COA).
• Responsible for managing and implementing new cost-saving and continuous improvement projects within the department.
• Responsible for maintaining and monitoring established safety programs.
• Forklift Trainer responsible for controlling certified personnel records, training documentation, and scheduling training activities, working in coordination with other internal trainers to ensure certifications remain current.
• Maintains environmental metrics up to date, verifies logs, and ensures monthly environmental postings and reports are completed.
• Supervises unionized personnel, forklift operators, and waste collection personnel.
• Possesses knowledge of all EH&S department activities and provides support in any area as needed, including accident investigations, Safety Committee activities, VelocityEHS system administration, emergency drills, and related EH&S functions.
