Job summary

Farmers Insurance is seeking an entry-level Distribution Program Management support role. You will assist with developing project plans, coordinating meetings, and communicating with project teams under the direction of the Distribution Program Manager.

This position supports planning, scheduling, and reporting tasks, helps maintain staffing and project documents, and contributes to budget and timeline monitoring within the Distribution Program Office.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or Computer Information Systems preferred.
• Two years experience in project planning and execution.
• Intermediate level experience with Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Provide project planning, scheduling, and reporting support to the project team.
• Provide support during the Project Planning Phase including the development of Project Plans, Scope, and/or CAP.
• Gather project plan details from the project management team and assemble into a project plan.
• Develop and maintain the project staffing plans, actively working out issues in the plan.
• Develop and maintain project reports such as weekly status, resource, and risk reports.
• Schedule and coordinate meetings/workshops for the project team.
• Develop Project Presentation Materials.
• Communicate project management information between offices and coordinators, and project staff.
• Monitor compliance to standards and procedures; assist with budget and schedule.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
