Capital One is seeking a Director of Software Engineering in Mexico City to lead and mentor multiple software teams, shaping the strategy and roadmaps for a cloud-based platform. You will collaborate with product leaders to deliver scalable, customer-focused solutions in an iterative development process.

You will drive stakeholder alignment, foster engineering excellence, and mentor engineers while staying abreast of trends and introducing new technologies to the team.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of software development experience.
• 7+ years of people management experience.
• 5+ years of AWS experience.

Responsabilidades

• Influence executive stakeholders and set strategic direction.
• Lead, manage and grow multiple software engineering teams.
• Mentor and guide engineers on technical and professional growth.
• Define strategy, roadmap and destination architecture with product leaders.
• Manage a portfolio of platforms and projects for scalable customer solutions.
• Improve software engineering practices and drive agile delivery.
