Capital One seeks a Director of Software Engineering to lead, mentor, and build high-performing engineering teams delivering customer-centric, scalable solutions. The role requires strong cloud expertise, hands-on technology engagement, and clear strategic vision.

You will manage AWS-based infrastructure, drive architecture across full-stack tooling, and collaborate with product leaders to craft roadmaps while championing best practices and talent development.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree required; Master’s may be preferred depending on profile.
• Minimum 9 years software development experience; 7+ years in people management.
• Strong experience with AWS cloud and modern software architectures.
• Ability to drive strategy, stakeholder alignment and roadmap execution.

Responsabilidades

• Influence executive stakeholders and lead multiple engineering teams.
• Mentor engineers and guide professional development within the teams.
• Define strategy, roadmap and destination architecture with product leaders.
• Manage a portfolio of platforms and projects to deliver scalable applications.
• Promote agile best practices and foster innovation across teams.
