Capital One is seeking a Director of Software Engineering in Mexico City to lead multiple software teams building scalable applications and services. You will mentor engineers, manage cloud infrastructure, and drive agile delivery across a portfolio of critical platforms.

You will leverage AWS, Java, Python and related tools to deliver game-changing technologies for millions of customers across lines of business.

Formación

• English fluency at an intermediate-advanced level.
• A Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred.
• 13+ years of software development experience.
• 8+ years of experience with public cloud providers (AWS, GCP).
• 8+ years of experience in Agile practices.
• 7+ years in people management.

Responsabilidades

• Lead, manage and grow multiple software engineering teams.
• Mentor professional and technical growth of engineers.
• Manage a portfolio of platforms and projects ensuring scalable applications.
• Improve software engineering practices continuously.
• Collaborate across Agile teams to design and deliver full-stack solutions.
