Flex is seeking a Sr Director, Operations to lead advanced and electronic assembly operations in Guadalajara North, Campus. You will report to the VP Operations and shape strategic plans across manufacturing, planning, test, maintenance and logistics.

The ideal candidate holds a BA/BS/MBA or equivalent, has deep manufacturing experience, and proven success with New Product Introduction, process characterization and cost control. Fluent English and strong leadership are essential.

Responsabilidades

• Guarantee production, delivery in full, on time and in specifications, as required by customers, at the most cost-effective rate.
• Define operational financial goals and manage P&L responsibilities.
• Lead and oversee purchasing, production control, planning, manufacturing engineering, test engineering, maintenance, manufacturing and logistics.
• Define and execute operational programs aligned with strategic plans and annual goals.
• Participate in quarterly business reviews with key customers and monthly KOI reviews.
• Recruit, develop, and retain a qualified, motivated workforce.

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Sr Director, Operations located in Guadalajara North, Campus.

Reporting to the VP Operations. The Director, Operations will be responsible for leading and overseeing advanced and electronic assembly operations, high‑volume production, technology integration, and NPI operational excellence.

What a typical day looks like:

• Guarantee production, delivery in full, on time and in specifications, required by customers, at the most cutthroat cost.
• Define operational financial goals.
• Operational business experience including a successful performance track record managing staff and P&L.
• Establish and communicate Business Unit goals and assignments.
• Define and execute operational programs in line with strategic plans and annual operating goals.
• Meet with Executive Business at least monthly to review and evaluate KOI's.
• Attend quarterly business reviews with key customers.
• Partner with other business to establish strategic plans and goals.
• Direct and control the activities on purchasing business, production control, planning, manufacturing engineering, test engineering, maintenance, manufacturing and logistics.
• Implement appropriate HR strategies and actions to recruit and retain a qualified and motivated workforce.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• BA/BS/MBA or equivalent work experience
• Experience in manufacturing sector
• Highly technical background with hands‑on experience leading and operating advanced manufacturing operations, process characterization, and manufacturing industrialization, in high‑complexity environments.
• Proven experience in New Product Introduction (NPI), including product and new technology launches, from concept and validation through production ramp‑up.
• Advanced English communication skill
• Management skills in Manufacturing
