Placements24 seeks a Director de Catering de Eventos (Remote) to lead a premier catering operation for a global client base. You will design bespoke catering solutions, oversee menu creation, manage event logistics, and ensure flawless execution for a wide range of events.

The role requires 8+ years in catering management with at least 4 years in a leadership capacity, plus strong negotiation and remote-team leadership skills in Spanish and English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 8+ years in catering management and event planning with at least 4 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of food and beverage trends, menu planning, and culinary techniques.
• Excellent organizational, project management, and negotiation skills.
• Proven ability to manage remote teams and operations.

Responsabilités

• Develop and implement strategic plans to grow the catering business segment.
• Oversee the entire catering event lifecycle, from initial client consultation to post-event follow-up.
• Create customized menus and proposals tailored to client needs, budgets, and event styles.
• Manage relationships with clients, vendors, and suppliers to ensure seamless event execution.
• Lead and mentor remote catering teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
• Ensure adherence to all food safety, health, and sanitation regulations for catering operations.
• Manage event budgets, control costs, and maximize profitability for each catered event.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key industry partners and venues.
• Oversee logistics, including staffing, transportation, equipment rental, and setup/breakdown.
• Continuously innovate and improve catering services, menus, and presentation styles to maintain a competitive edge.
