TransPerfect in Mexico City is seeking a Digital Forensic Examiner to preserve and analyze digital media, devices, and cloud systems. You will independently process artifacts from Windows, macOS, Android and iOS, manage time and cases, and escalate issues to senior staff.

The role requires strong communication, detailed note-taking, and the ability to scope projects, estimate time and costs, and deliver client deliverables across projects from start to finish.

Formación

• BS/BA required in CS, Eng, IT, MIS or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of direct digital forensic experience.
• Relevant industry certifications, education and/or training.
• Strong hardware and software troubleshooting experience.

Responsabilidades

• Manage and track electronic evidence.
• Use forensic software to identify, collect, preserve and analyze data from laptops, desktops, cell phones, email and cloud-based systems.
• Email collections and Efile conversions.
• Social media collections and preservations.
• Coordinate with other personnel to assist on projects throughout lifecycles.
• Maintain detailed project-related notes and documentation.
• Enter project-related monthly billing.
• Manage projects from inception to completion including scoping, workflow conception, execution of forensically sound collections, data identification and data handoffs.
