Control-Risks in Mexico City is seeking an Associate Consultant to support corporate investigations, forensic reviews and compliance engagements. The role emphasizes financial analysis, transactional testing, and review of business processes to identify unusual transactions and potential misconduct.

Under supervision, you will assist with document reviews, interview preparation, and the creation of workpapers and client presentations.

Formación

• 3–4 years of relevant experience in accounting, external or internal audit, financial controls, or risk consulting.
• Fluency in Spanish and advanced business English.
• Experience reviewing financial transactions and supporting documentation.
• Familiarity with eDiscovery methodologies and platforms.

Responsabilidades

• Perform financial and transactional analysis in support of corporate investigations and forensic reviews.
• Conduct transactional testing and review supporting documentation such as invoices, purchase orders, contracts, payment records and accounting entries.
• Analyse accounting records and general ledger activity to identify unusual transactions, patterns or exceptions.
• Review end-to-end business processes including procurement, vendor onboarding, invoicing and payments to identify control weaknesses.
• Support forensic accounting and financial review workstreams.
• Assist with document and electronic communication reviews.
• Prepare interview materials and participate in investigative interviews as appropriate.
• Contribute to investigation reports and client presentations.
