Job summary

Cubico Sustainable Investments Limited is seeking a Development Analyst in Mexico City to assess locations for renewable energy projects and manage subcontractors for feasibility studies.

The role reports to the Development Manager on a 12-month fixed-term contract with potential extension, requiring strong technical and project-management skills and familiarity with regulatory processes.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience developing energy projects.
• Experience with solar or wind projects.
• Understanding of SEN (National Electric System).
• Experience managing projects and developing schedules.
• Knowledge of Interconnection manuals, applicable regulations, Prodesen.
• Familiarity with government entities involved in the development process (CRE, SENER, CENACE, SEMARNAT, etc.).
• Proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Technical analysis of different sites for development of projects.
• Elaboration of development schedules (MS Project).
• Performing simulations in PVSyst.
• Follow-up of MS Project and Planview Schedules.
• AutoCAD Implementations.

Job Description

The Development Analyst will be responsible for analysing different locations for the development of energy generation projects through renewable technology (Photovoltaic and Wind). Managing and supervising subcontractors required to carry out relevant studies to determine the viability of these projects.

The role will be based in Cubico's office in Mexico City, reporting to the Development Manager.

A 12-month fixed-term contract, with the possibility of extension.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Previous experience developing projects.
• Previous experience working with solar or wind projects.
• Understanding of the SEN (National Electric System).
• Experience managing projects and developing managements schedules.
• Knowledge of Interconnection manuals, applicable regulations, Prodesen.
• Familiarity with government entities involved in the development process (CRE, SENER, CENACE, SEMARNAT, etc.)
• Good use of Autocad and Google Earth
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Analytical and decision-making skills.
• Proactivity & Organization skills.
• Proficiency in English language.
• Availability to travel depending on the development of the projects.
