Job summary

SEGULA Technologies Mexico engineers sought to own chassis components from concept to mass production, including design, specification, testing, validation, and release of suspension, frames, and related structures.

You will design with NX and CATIA, run DVP&R tests, coordinate DFMEA/PFMEA with suppliers, support pilot builds, and push lightweighting and cost-reduction initiatives while collaborating with global teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering and licensure (Titulado).
• 0–8 years of hands-on experience in automotive design or release.
• Advanced English for collaboration with global teams.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software (NX or CATIA).

Responsibilities

• Design & Release: use NX and CATIA to design and release chassis components.
• Testing & Validation: plan and evaluate DVP&R tests in virtual and plant environments.
• Supplier & Plant Support: coordinate DFMEAs/PFMEAs and support pilot builds.
• Problem Solving: analyze failures using 8D, 5-Why, Ishikawa methodologies.
• Continuous Improvement: lead lightweighting and cost-reduction initiatives (VAVE).
