Caterpillar is hiring a Design Engineer to provide support to the Reman Engine Systems team in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico. You will work on high-pressure fuel pumps and other Fuel Systems products, gaining knowledge of the entire Engine Systems line and remanufacturing processes.

The key role of a Design Engineer is to provide overall support to the Reman Engine Systems team. In this role, the Design Engineer will gain knowledge of the entire Engine Systems product line along with an understanding of the remanufacturing process. This role will be the Product Engineer for one or more high pressure fuel pumps and/or other Fuel Systems product families. The Reman Engine Systems team is accountable for the overall quality and warranty of existing products, support of product and process salvage improvement projects to manage costs, and execution of New Product Introduction (NPI) programs introducing new product offerings for our dealers and customers.
Requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering curriculum, preferably Mechanical Engineering or other relevant disciplines. Significant relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. Proficient English level

This role will be located in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico.

10-15% travel is required for this position.
