Caterpillar is hiring a Design Engineer to provide support to the Reman Engine Systems team in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico. You will work on high-pressure fuel pumps and other Fuel Systems products, gaining knowledge of the entire Engine Systems line and remanufacturing processes.

The role emphasizes quality, warranty, and cost-saving through salvage and new product introduction, with travel 10-15% and relocation assistance available.

Formación

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering; significant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Proficient English level.
• Strong analytical and communication skills for cross-functional work.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate salvage projects and techniques for high-pressure fuel pumps and fuel systems.
• Develop validation plans to meet quality and warranty goals.
• Support NPI of Engine Systems products and handle print maintenance & releasing.
• Collaborate with buyers and suppliers to improve capabilities and performance.
• Assess warranty trends and assist in production and quality issue resolution.
• Organize and execute prototype building, testing, and analysis.
