Caterpillar Inc. is seeking a Design Engineer to provide comprehensive support to the Reman Engine Systems team in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico.

You will gain exposure to the entire Engine Systems product line and the remanufacturing process, serving as the Product Engineer for high‑pressure fuel pumps and related fuel system families. The role emphasizes warranty and quality improvement, with opportunities to contribute to new product introductions and process enhancements in a collaborative global

Formación

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering; significant relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Proficient English level.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate/validate salvage projects and techniques to meet quality and warranty goals.
• Support NPI of Engine Systems products and perform print maintenance & releasing.
• Coordinate with buyers and suppliers to improve capabilities and performance, including warranty analysis.
• Evaluate product warranty trends and address issues; support production and quality problem resolution.
• Organize, coordinate and execute prototype building, testing and analysis of salvage processes.
