Kontoor Brands is seeking a Demand Business Planner to lead consensus demand planning for the Mexico stream, owning forecast accuracy and cross-functional alignment to drive inventory, service levels, and financial outcomes.

You will collaborate with Sales, Finance, Customer Operations, and Supply Planning using forecasting systems and market insights to deliver accurate forecasts and identify risks and opportunities across the business.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field required.
• 5+ years in Demand Planning, Supply Planning, SIOP or forecasting.
• Experience leading cross-functional planning processes and influencing stakeholders.
• Advanced knowledge of forecasting methods and demand planning principles.
• Strong business acumen and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management in English.
• Advanced Excel and data analysis capabilities.

Responsabilidades

• Own the consensus demand plan at Style-Color-SKU level for the Mexico stream.
• Lead SIOP process and demand reviews; communicate forecast changes and risks.
• Develop and maintain forecasts across Mexico customer portfolio.
• Analyze trends, lifecycle impacts, replenishment, seasonality, and promotions.
• Support NPIs, seasonal launches, and commercial initiatives with demand planning.
• Create scenario analyses and long-range demand outlooks for inventory and growth.

JOB SUMMARY

As the Demand Business Planner, you will serve as the demand planning leader for the Mexico Stream, owning the development and maintenance of the consensus demand plan at the Style-Color-SKU level. This role provides the demand signal that drives inventory, supply, customer service, and financial decisions across the Mexico business.

Working closely with Sales, Finance, Customer Operations, Supply Planning, and Stream Leadership, you will leverage forecasting systems, market intelligence, customer insights, and cross-functional inputs to generate accurate forecasts, identify risks and opportunities, and influence key business decisions. As a key contributor to the SIOP process, you will help ensure alignment between local business objectives and North America Stream priorities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead cross-functional alignment to establish and maintain a consensus demand plan supporting service, inventory, and financial goals.
• Apply advanced forecasting methodologies and planning tools to improve forecast quality and proactively adjust assumptions based on business trends, customer intelligence, market dynamics, and historical performance.
• Lead demand reviews within the SIOP process, communicating forecast changes, business assumptions, risks, and opportunities.
• Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts across the Mexico customer portfolio at the Style-Color-SKU level.
• Own forecast accuracy and demand planning performance through analysis of customer trends, product lifecycle impacts, replenishment patterns, seasonality, and promotions.
• Lead demand planning activities supporting New Product Introductions (NPI), seasonal launches, and commercial initiatives
• Develop scenario analyses and long-range demand outlooks to support decisions related to inventory, capacity, customer service, financial planning, and growth strategies.
• Drive continuous improvement in forecasting processes, planning methodologies, reporting capabilities, and cross-functional collaboration.

REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Economics, Finance, Statistics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Demand Planning, Supply Planning, SIOP, Forecasting, Replenishment, or related Supply Chain disciplines.
• Experience leading cross-functional planning processes and influencing stakeholders across multiple business functions
• Advanced knowledge of statistical forecasting methodologies and demand planning principles.
• Strong business acumen and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal
• Advanced Excel and data analysis capabilities.
• Advanced analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable business recommendations.

Plus: Experience with SAP IBP, Kinaxis, Blue Yonder, Logility, or similar planning systems
