Kontoor Brands, Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Superintendent to oversee day-to-day operations, quality assurance, and cost-efficiency initiatives in our production facility. This role reports to the Plant Manager and leads a team of Production Supervisors to execute strategic objectives.

The ideal candidate has 7–10 years in manufacturing/operations, a Bachelor’s degree, fluent English, and the ability to obtain a U.S. visa. Relocation may be required to support business needs.

Job Posting: Position Summary

The Superintendent is responsible for supervising and coordinating the day‑to‑day activities of personnel involved in operations, manufacturing, quality assurance, and cost‑efficiency initiatives.

This role may oversee multiple departments and reports directly to the Plant Manager.

The position also provides leadership and direction to a team of Production Supervisors.

Job Requirements
  • 7-10 years of related professional experience in manufacturing or operations.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Fluent English (required).
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. visa.
  • Willingness to relocate as business needs require.
Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of production personnel.
  • Maintain targeted work‑in‑process (WIP) levels to meet production requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with established quality standards.
  • Maintain a safe and productive work environment.
  • Promote and ensure good housekeeping practices throughout the facility.
  • Develop and lead a supervisory team capable of achieving and exceeding performance goals in production, training, and continuous improvement.
  • Foster a highly productive workforce with low absenteeism and turnover while promoting employee engagement and morale.
  • Control overhead costs and minimize downtime.
  • Promote and ensure safe working conditions and safe work habits among associates.
  • Ensure accurate payroll administration, operational efficiency, and employee engagement.
Experience and Competencies
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop people.
  • Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Strong verbal, written, and listening communication skills.
  • Ability to identify improvement opportunities and successfully drive change.
  • Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office, AS400, and SAP.
  • Flexibility to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing business needs.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Professional attitude and strong teamwork orientation.
  • Willingness to relocate based on business and organizational requirements.
