DRiV seeks a Canadian Business Data Analyst – Retail and Distribution to transform large data into actionable insights. You will work cross-functionally with customer and internal data teams to deliver 360-degree data outputs, load sheet updates, and improved product information.

Responsibilities include driving demand forecast, asset data quality, and supporting marketing promotions. The role requires strong analytical skills and communication across business units.

Formación

  • Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years of experience in a quantitative field.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration across multiple groups.
  • Ability to resolve complex problems and analyze potential solutions.
  • Advocate for an analytics approach where data is scarce.

Responsabilidades

  • Distribute new Number announcements to Large WD and Retail customers in templates.
  • Follow up after ~2 weeks to distribute marketing content.
  • Identify gaps in NPI sales for Uni-Select and Canadian Tire to maximize new numbers.
  • Pull monthly customer OTD Sales numbers.
  • Maintain Customer PDX and RFQ systems; update images, attributes, specs, etc.
  • Review inventory at key accounts to spot trends for revenue opportunities.
  • Assist with marketing promotions and day-to-day tasks.
  • Lead development and maintenance of DRiV’s demand forecast.
  • Deliver high-quality data science outputs, including ROI analyses and internal tools.

Job Title

Canadian Business Data Analyst – Retail and Distribution

Job Description

The Canadian Business Data Analyst uses information, business analysis, and technology to transform high volumes of information to workable and manageable output data sets. The Canadian Data Analyst will be able to work cross functionally with customer and internal data teams. This position will lead the data improvement and maintain product data, load sheet updates and deliver 360 solutions in order to deliver data accurately. Implementing new/updated programs and product information is a key aspect of this position. Evaluate the current customer product portfolios and key marketing opportunities. Improve data accuracy and work with external teams for collaborative in a successful approach to drive revenue goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure timely distribution of new Number announcements to Large WD and Retail customers in their respective templates
    • Follow up after ~2 weeks to distribute marketing content
  • Find gaps in NPI sales for Uni-Select and Canadian Tire to ensure they are purchasing all new numbers that make sense
  • Pull customer OTD Sales numbers monthly
  • Be proficient in Customer PDX and RFQ systems a bonus.
    • These systems need constant attention and can be time consuming
    • PDX typically always needs updating for all lines (images, attributes, specs, etc.)
  • Review inventory at Key accounts to spot trends/patterns that can help drive revenue generating conversations
  • Assist with Marketing promotions
  • Assist with day-to-day tasks
  • Lead the development, maintenance, and enhancement of DRiV’s demand forecast.
  • Deliver high-quality data science outputs, ranging from foundational research and analytics products to ROI analyses and internal business tools.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a quantitative discipline or 4 or more years of experience.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work across multiple groups within the organization.
  • Ability to resolve complex problems and break them down to analyze possible solutions.
  • Ability to advocate for an analytics approach to business problems where the use of data may be scarce.
  • Organized approach to project work and engagement with the business
  • Proficient in PowerBI (preferred)
  • Proficient in Excel and all Office products
Travel
  • Occasional travel could be required
