Job summary

Zurich Capability Center in Mexico City is seeking a Data Scientist to translate business problems into analytical solutions, build models, and deliver actionable insights. You will collaborate with Data Engineers, ML/AI Ops, and IT to deploy models in production and monitor performance.

The role requires strong Python skills, knowledge of ML techniques, and ability to communicate results to business stakeholders. English at least B2 and experience with Azure/Databricks is a plus.

Qualifications

• University education (Bachelor’s degree or higher).
• Strong Python knowledge with basic data science packages.
• Experience with Azure and Databricks is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Understand business problems and structure analytical approaches to solve them.
• Generate proof of concepts from data that help deliver improved business results.
• Prepare and pre-process datasets needed to deliver analytical solutions.
• Generate distinctive risk insights that deliver improved business results.
• Build and implement predictive models and other analytical solutions using bothstructured and unstructured data.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers, ML/AI Ops, and IT teams to deploy models intoproduction environments and monitor models performance.
• Support communication of findings, implications, and performance of the models tobusiness stakeholders.
